Box-Ironbark Forests and Woodlands Investigation Final Recommendations - for the Environment Conservation Council.
The Minister, under Section 17 of the Environment Conservation Council Act 1997 required the Environment Conservation Council to carry out an investigation of Victorias Box-Ironbark Forests and Woodlands occurring on public land in northern Victoria. The area investigated was the box-ironbark ecosystem stretching from the Grampians in the west to Wodonga in the north-east.

- Purpose
- This layer shows the final recommendations of the ECC Box-Ironbark Forests and Woodlands Investigation for public land. The extent of this investigation was determined by the ECC within a larger area specified by the Minister for Environment and Conservation. The final recommendations were approved in February 2002, and subsequent legislation for 11 parks came into effect by the government on 29 Oct 2002.
