2018-19 Macalister40 - Rosedale Bushfire Photography
project:
cip32-2018-19_rosedale-fire
The Rosedale bushfire started on 4th January and was contained by the 13th January 2019. High resolution imagery was requested from the CFA for post burn analysis and asset loss identification. Landair Surveys were contracted by the Victorian State Government (via the Coordianted Imagery Program) to capture and process visible and infrared (RGBI) photography with a short time period. The photography was captured with the RCD30 camera and NAT-D 2.8/80 lens in clear conditions on the 14th January to produce 10cm resolution orthophotography. The resultant photography is cloud and smoke free and was delivered on the 25th January. Uncompressed RGBI tiled photography is available as well as compressed colour-infrared and visible mosaiced photography.
