project: cip11b-2019-20_egipp-towns

The original East Gippsland and Wellington Towns project (11-2019-20) was commissioned to be captured as part of the 2019-20 CIP. This project was compromised by problems that affected the whole State of Victoria starting from December 2019. Bushfires in the summer of 2019-20 interrupted capture then the COVID-19 pandemic prevented Outline Global from completing the acquisition of aerial photography in East Gippsland. Two other companies, Ecosystems Management and Aerometrex, were brought in to undertake acquisition to complete the capture areas for the East Gippsland township areas that could not be captured by Outline Global. These later projects combine the original project capture areas with post-bushfire imagery required by the Victorian State Government. It's a mess. The full project capture for the original townships now combines three separate projects: cip11-2019-20 (Outline Global) cip11b-2019-20 (Ecosystems Management) cip47-2019-20 (Aerometrex)
