Sustainable Diversion Limits (SDL) have been developed across Victoria and represent the upper limit on winterfall diversions, beyond which there is an unacceptable risk that additional extractions may degrade the environment. Combined with the volume of current extractions the SDL provides water managers with volume of available water in catchments across Victoria.

The data is obsolete. Extract from PLMGEN (version 22 July 2011) based on "selected public land". The areas included are Mt Disappointment State Forest, Toolangi State Forest, Mt Robertson State Forest, Wandong Regional Park, Kinglake West Education Area, Castella Education Area, Kinglake National Park, Yarra Ranges National Park and Toorourrong Reservoir Park. State Forest names were edited, to update them to the local names of State Forest by which they are known. Manually edited to correct State forest names and boundaries.
