This dataset is populated by members of the public, sharing observations of flying-foxes on the public-facing Flying-fox map. Members of the public add to this dataset via the Flying-fox map, by recording flying-fox observations, pinpointing the location and sharing additional information on flying-fox numbers, behaviour etc. Records will be vetted by DEECA before sharing on the Flying-fox map. Data will be uploaded to the Victorian Biodiversity Atlas periodically. This dataset will inform the public of recent flying-fox observations across Victoria. The dataset may also alert DEECA to newly established camps or unusual flying-fox activity.

This dataset is created by joining FLYING_FOX_CAMP_SURVEY dataset with VMFEAT.LOCALITY_POINT for presentation requirement in Webmap This dataset contains information on flying-fox camps across Victoria, including locations generalised at the vicmap locality point and latest monitoring estimates. This dataset is populated by DEECA to update monitoring estimates, information on camp permanence and status, and data on new camps. Camp monitoring data will be uploaded to the Victorian Biodiversity Atlas periodically for public access.

Native Vegetation recording and counterbalance spatial information used for the implementation of the procedure for the removal, destruction or lopping of native vegetation, giving DELWP access to the Crown Land excemption in Clause 52.17 of all local planning schemes.

Part of the Vicmap Admin dataset series. Full topology. Polygon layer. attribution (postcode numbers, unique feature identification, data quality pointer etc) is available. These Boundaries are created by notification from Australia Post as their Post Code boundaries are aligned with Locality. Aligned to Vicmap Property.

The map is provided to share information on flying-foxes across Victoria and allow the public to share observations. The map shows an approximate distribution of flying-foxes across Victoria, previous records and locations of known and recently occupied camps. The map provides some camp information including site information and latest monitoring data, populated by DEECA. Members of the public can also populate the map's dataset by recording flying-fox observations, pinpointing the location and sharing additional information on flying-fox numbers, behaviour etc. Data will be uploaded to the Victorian Biodiversity Atlas periodically. The map informs the public of recent flying-fox observations across Victoria as well as recent activity at camps. The dataset may also alert DEECA to newly established camps or unusual flying-fox activity.

This version of the areas of the cultural heritage sensitivity dataset (ACHS) does not contain any attribute information. This dataset contains a spatial representation of "Areas of Cultural Heritage Sensitivity" as specified in Division 3, Part 2 of the Aboriginal Heritage Regulations 2018. Areas of cultural heritage sensitivity are areas that are either known to contain, or are likely to contain Aboriginal cultural heritage places and objects. These areas, which include various landforms within Victoria, are defined in the Aboriginal Heritage Regulations 2018. This polygon dataset is a representation of those areas as defined in the Regulations. The polygon features within the dataset have been derived from several sources, including geological and hydrological data. Note: This dataset is based on the best available information and should be used in conjunction the information contained in Division 3, Part 2 of the Aboriginal Heritage Regulations 2018. This data is under active revision to improve the representation as better quality source data becomes available.
