Under the Melbourne Strategic Assessment program, liabilities are calculated through the use of the `Environment Mitigation Dataset'. This dataset is made up of two sub-sets, the `Environment Mitigation Polygon Dataset' and the `Environment Mitigation Point Dataset' (this dataset). The `Environment Mitigation Polygon Dataset' provides the habitat areas across the levy area, while the `Environment Mitigation Point Dataset' (this dataset) provides the point data for scattered trees. Liability is based on the hectares of habitat and the price for that habitat type, and the number of scattered tree locations and the price for a scattered tree location. A parcel of land, or other area for which a liability is imposed, may have a liability imposed based on the coverage over that land of one or more of the following: > Native vegetation area > Matted Flax-lily habitat area > Spiny Rice-flower habitat area > Golden Sun Moth habitat area > Growling Grass Frog habitat area > Southern Brown Bandicoot habitat area > Scattered tree location Each of these are represented in the `Environment Mitigation Dataset', with the points for scattered tree locations represented in this sub-dataset.

The 3D Regional Proof of Concept (POC) purpose is to understand the feasibility of incorporating 3D datasets in the Vicmap suite of products. The 3D POC specifically focuses on the investigation of 3D model data types and the spatial capture technologies required to produce them, the quality of outputs and value-benefit for CIP partners as well as the community. Anglesea 3D Model project: 5cm Aerial Photography acquisition was completed over Anglesea on the 23rd of December 2019 for the purpose of creating a textured Photogrammetric Mesh (16.5km2). This project and other 3D Regional POC datasets can be visualised using Geocirrus 3D-GIS Web Application (tinyurl.com/5xk8v2fz) available until June 30, 2021 This project and other 3D Regional POC datasets can be visualised using Geocirrus 3D-GIS Web Application (tinyurl.com/5xk8v2fz) available until June 30, 2021 All 3D Regional POC dataset can be accessed/downloaded via the link tinyurl.com/3f9x2rfx

Polygons delineating Forest Management Blocks. The layer also contains aggregations of forest management blocks representing other administrative boundaries such as Forest Districts, Work Centres, Forest Management Areas (FMAs), VicForests Adiminstrative areas and an approximation to RFAs based on blocks. This is implemented via the use of Arc/Info region attribute tables.

Dataset containing an indication of the geographic extent covered by each current Coastal Action Plan identified in 'Table 2: Coastal Action Plan Status', of the Victorian Coastal Councils 2010-11 Annual Report. The dataset contains attributes identifying the report title, year of the report, Coastal Board region, unique identifier assigned to report, link that allows the report to be directly referenced, and link to source website page used to locate and obtain document. To support the capture of a suitable geographic extent covered by Coastal Plans each plan was reviewed and categorised in terms of the area it covered. For plans covering a local government area, Catchment Management Authority, Coastal Management Board area, or township, a nominal buffer was applied around the spatial extent of these administrative units. For reports containing a clear study area, this boundary was captured and used to depict the geographical area covered by the report.
